ADMD can manifests itself in the form of snacking, overeating and eating irregular numbers of meals per day.
Things you can try
– Avoid eating snacks in between meals.
– Avoid eating more meals that your doctor and/or dietitian has recommended to you specifically.
– Avoid Alcoholic drinks, foods that are high in sugar and foods that are highly processed.
– If you are hungry in between meals, try drinking a glass of water. Dehydration can be confused with hunger.
– Some people find that meditation can help to suppress the urge to eat snack food.
